As the kiln has proved to be in so much demand, we have changed the booking system so you can only book 1 slot in a day this is to avoid over booking .
we also think it might be worthwhile to change the way we use the kiln, instead of booking the kiln making the glass and fusing ect straight away we have a shelf for each making type, so once you have made your item and you want to fuse it you put it on the fusing shelf and we will fuse, tack and slump on certain days,

The storeroom area has been emptied out, so next step is to shovel 2 tonnes of sand into the base to cover the chippings, lay a damproof membrane, and then get a concrete floor poured.

We have started taking in membership forms and doing inductions, we currently have a lot of inductions people can book into but in June we will only be doing a few inductions a month so please book in for your induction as soon as you can,

we will be open from Monday 17th May, you can now apply to be a member through the website or get in touch via email. The clean room (painting, sewing, computer ect) is not ready yet but the workshop room is ready to go.
